Corsica under the spotlight
Corsican landscapes
Earth washed ocher and flaming purple, emerald and azure sea, craggy mountains overlooking fearlessly shaded creeks, villages sitting on their slope or stretched on their crest, Corsica generously provides the sensitive rigor the artist.
Here are the roots of Agnes Giudicelli. This notion of belonging is first connected to the village of an ancestor, Corscia shepherd, like those of Niolo paced the rocky paths of transhumance. Agnes Giudicelli has the soul of landscape painters.
On a palette of nuances, she orders and immortalizes the language of nature, heritage of our common humanity.
"What we can not speak, one must paint it." The sincerity of his work on Corsica is a vibrant and valuable evidence. (Th. Colin)
